ESCAPE FROM FRAMES

Between 1940 and 1945, America met the approaching storm with armed forces which fought across the world and millions of people at home who supported them, not only with war work and savings bonds, but with their hopes and prayers. People lived out their lives on the home front, but their hearts and minds were seldom far from "the boys at the front". The Upson Company was doing its bit during these years by producing a series of beautiful, patriotic jigsaw puzzles.

This page is both a part of the TUCO section and of the Military History section. Much of the work on this section has been done by Verl Cook, who probably is one of the two or three most knowledgeable people in WWII-era jigsaw puzzles. Some of the scans are from his puzzles, as well. Thanks to him for all his contributions.
