The eight Fighters for Freedom puzzles with the double pictures have no Titles on the box. Titles were created for each of them in order to tell one from the other. Many of the puzzle illustrations used for Fighters for Freedom also appeared in a series of picture books published by Whitman, starting around 1941, such as "Warplanes in Action", and Titles for the matching puzzles were derived from the written descriptions found in the books. |
|
There are five puzzles in the listings that are marked "(unknown)". For these, Titles have not been
identified as yet. There are 2 puzzles in Crown Series 712 and 3 puzzles in the Masterpiece 3964 puzzles without a
Series Number. As the Titles are found, they will be added to the listings until all are accounted for. We welcome
your questions, comments and suggestions. |
